SKM has created over 100 jobs, 75% in the local community. The Company is an active participant in local employment forums that were created to bring jobseekers and local companies together.
Enterprise development
SKM supports two local soccer teams. In line with our entrepreneurial spirit, SKM has developed a young entrepreneur who is now handling our employee transport. From starting out with one Kombi he now runs a fleet of four vehicles.

SKM is led by a small, highly-skilled management with over 82 years of experience in business and the mining industry.
SKM has been a registered and compliant tax payer since establishment in February 2021.
SKM Supports empowerment through the appointment of professional black-owned firms for its audit, legal and corporate secretarial services.
The company has raised funding from the Industrial Development Corporation of South Africa, and to date has passed all their reviews and compliance audits with flying colours.
